New York Elks Major Projects, Inc. Special Project Grant Request

The application deadline for the NYS Elks Association Special Grants has passed.
Come back soon for next year’s application process.

Each year the New York States Elks Association awards grants of up to $5,000 to support special projects that are difficult to fund through the normal budgeting process. These grants are voted on by the Major Projects Board in the spring and then approved by the full Board at the Elks Fall Convention in September. The checks are given at our Annual Conference in October or mailed if there is no one present from the Affiliate. The grants have helped start or maintain community gardens, support a music program and purchase specialized equipment for an outdoor recreation program. The grants are intended to help fund projects or initiatives that will benefit multiple people or families. The Elks will not consider grants that seek to help one individual.
